Last month, after a two-year battle with breast cancer, Wendy Anderson, the wife of Arkansas State head coach Blake Anderson, passed away. This Saturday, Georgia fans will be doing their best to honor her memory.
Georgia fans have organized a “pink out” for Sanford Stadium ahead of the matchup. In short, they will all be wearing pink instead of red in the stands to raise awareness for breast cancer.
Anderson has been incredibly appreciative of the move. Ahead of the game, on ESPN’s College GameDay, he was asked about it and gave an emotional response.

Arkansas State is not expected to be able to compete with Georgia on the field on Saturday. But we still might see the best moment of the college football season when the two schools meet.
Georgia heads into the contest as a 33-point favorite.
The contest will get under way at Noon ET and it will be broadcast on ESPN2.
