On Wednesday afternoon, Boston College and No. 25 Boise State met in a Servpro First Responder Bowl in Dallas. Boise State entered the contest as the favorite, but it's been all Eagles so far in this one as Boston College holds a 7-0 lead.

The Broncos managed just 33 yards of total offense, while the Eagles are just four yards away from 100 on the day.

After an exciting start to the game, today's first bowl contest entered a 30-minute weather delay as lightning was in the area. The team's won't be able to take the field until 30 minutes after the latest lightning strike.

A new start time has yet to be revealed, but both teams were forced to leave the field of play and head into their respective locker rooms. Boston College leads 7-0 with just over five minutes left in the first quarter. Stay tuned for more weather updates from the game and the latest start times. UPDATE: The game has now been postponed until at least 3:23 p.m. ET after another lightning strike.

UPDATE No. 2: The game has been cancelled.
