Two days ago, Brett McMurphy released a bombshell report alleging Urban Meyer knew about the assault allegations against fired wide receivers coach Zach Smith. The allegations stem from a 2015 incident.

In his initial piece, McMurphy showed a series of photos from Courtney Smith that showed her bloodied and with bruises she claims are the result of domestic violence.

Smith, the fired wide receivers coach, appeared in two interviews with 105.7 The Fan and ESPN on Friday afternoon. During the interviews, Smith said he "never committed domestic abuse" against his ex-wife, Courtney Smith.

Brett McMurphy countered that with a previously unreleased text exchange. This exchange is allegedly between Zach Smith and Courtney Smith and if so, it seems to confirm a domestic violence incident occurred.

How this affects Urban Meyer and his future at Ohio State is anyone's guess. Meyer announced he knew about alleged domestic violence incidents and reported it up the chain.

This does, however, call into question Smith's interviews with 105.7 and ESPN where he said anything that happened to her body was "defensive movements" to remove himself from the situation.

Stay tuned for more.
