The NFL Network has reportedly issued a punishment for Brian Baldinger following his "bounty" comments.
Last week, ahead of the Cowboys vs. Eagles contest, NFL Network analyst Brian Baldinger, appearing on 97.5 The Fanatic, suggested that Philadelphia should put a "bounty" on Dallas running back Ezekiel Elliott's head. It won't surprise you to hear that Baldinger has been suspended by the network.
According to Sporting News, Baldinger has been suspended for six months without pay. It's a stiff penalty.
Whether or not you agree with Baldinger's hard-nosed philosophy, there was never much debate regarding what was going to happen here, given the NFL's "bountygate" scandal involving the Saints a few years back. Baldinger has yet to comment on the suspension.
