A controversial photo of a Clemson five-star wide receiver at a car dealership went viral on Saturday. It has since been addressed by the dealership.

Tee Higgins, a former five-star recruit, bought a car on Saturday. According to a photo tweeted out by the car dealership he went to, it looked like Higgins might have purchased a vehicle that costs nearly $200K.

Of course, that had people speculating.

Higgins, the No. 2 WR in the 2017 recruiting class, did not purchase the expensive car shown in the picture, though. He bought a different one. The dealership cleared this up in a Facebook post, saying that Higgins was simply a fan of the car shown in the picture and enjoyed a test drive.

OK then.

The college football season really can't get here fast enough. Clemson opens its 2018 season on Sept. 1 against Furman.
