It’s been a while since Michigan beat Ohio State – eight years, to be exact. The Wolverines last took down the Buckeyes in 2011, when Luke Fickell was the interim head coach.
Ohio State is set to take on Michigan in Ann Arbor this afternoon.
Some chirping between former Buckeyes and former Wolverines players is taking place on social media.
Former Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones has a message for the former Michigan players: Shut up.
“To all the for(m)er recent (M)ichigan football players who NEVER beat OSU, ‘SHUT UP and watch your tea(m) get spanked again!’ Go Bucks!” he tweeted.

Jones went 4-0 against Michigan during his time at Ohio State. He most-notably took over for an injured J.T. Barrett in the 2014 game, leading the Buckeyes to a win and, eventually, a national championship.
The strong-armed quarterback is currently signed to play for Washington, D.C.’s XFL team. The new league begins play in 2020.
Ohio State and Michigan are set to kick off at noon E.T.
The game will be on FOX.
