Carson Beck's Girlfriend Reacts To Him Declaring For The 2025 NFL Draft
Carson Beck's NFL Draft stock definitely took a hit this year but that isn't stopping the Georgia QB from pursuing his pro football dreams.
On Saturday, Beck announced his decision to declare for the 2025 draft after five seasons in Athens and a season-ending UCL injury.
"First off I want to thank God, for blessing me with the opportunity to play the game I love. Through the ups and downs, the highs and lows, everything that this game produces and provides, I'm eternally grateful for," Beck said in a statement. "Football has taught me lessons that will last a lifetime and has grown me into the person I am today."
"The past five years at the University of Georgia have been nothing short of a dream come true and I will forever cherish the memories that have been made," the senior continued. "Thank you Dawg Nation for the time I've been here and to those who've supported and believed in me, thank you. It's been an incredible journey and all these moments have ultimately led me to take the next step in my football career. With that being said, I will be declaring for the 2025 NFL Draft. Go Dawgs!"
Among those to congratulate Beck on his next chapter was girlfriend, Hanna Cavinder, who commented: "Proud of you," on his Instagram post revealing the news.
Beck confirmed his relationship with women's college basketball star this past summer after several rumors linking them together.
Cavinder announced her return to the University of Miami with twin sister Haley after taking some time away from basketball to focus on their off-court ventures.
"When I made the decision to stop playing, I was excited to get more involved in the businesses and brands we are part of," Cavinder said in July. "But watching Haley train and get ready for the season made me realize that I wasn't ready to stop playing. I love basketball and I know I won't be able to play it forever. Being with my sister is the perfect way to finish out my career."
Beck's Georgia Bulldogs take on Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl on New Year's Day. A win in that game would advance them to the semifinals of the College Football Playoff.
