4-Star QB Casey Thompson Releases Top 10 Schools, Will Make Decision Today

4-star quarterback Casey Thompson released his top 10 schools yesterday, and is set to make his decision this afternoon.

4-star dual-threat quarterback and high school junior Casey Thompson took to Twitter on Thursday morning to let college football fans everywhere know that he's narrowed his college decision down to 10 schools: Miami, Texas, Arizona State, Tennessee, North Carolina, UCF, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Oklahoma and Ohio State.

Check out the post below to see the official announcement:

Thompson, a junior at Southmoore High School (Ok.) is the No. 7 ranked dual-threat quarterback in the nation out of the 2018 recruiting class, per 247 Sports.

According to the experts on 247 Sports, Thompson is likely to choose Texas, but obviously anything can happen.

Here's what the 6-foot-1, 184-pound QB had to say about Texas and head coach Tom Herman, per 247 Sports.

“Coach (Tom) Herman and I talk every other day. We have a really good relationship. I talk to Coach (Tim) Beck almost every day. They’ve done a good job recruiting me. I’ve been down there a few times recently, and I really like it.”

Thompson will announce his decision later today at 2:30 p.m. E.T. at a ceremony at his school.
