CBS' Dennis Dodd Says The Big 12 Isn't Going Away

The college football insider doesn't see the Big 12 going anywhere.

The Big 12 has a lot of doubters these days.

There's been talk that Oklahoma wants out of the league and that Texas is likely to follow at some point in the future.

If you had to pick one of the Power 5's leagues to fold, you'd probably pick the Big 12.

CBS Sports' college football reporter Dennis Dodd thinks differently. He says the Big 12 isn't going anywhere - not anytime soon, anyway.

"Still the best place for Texas, Oklahoma to win championships," Dodd writes.

The Big 12 probably isn't going anywhere anytime soon, but looking into college football's future 10, 20 years from now, it's tough to imagine the league existing like it currently does.

It wouldn't be surprising if some of the conference's power programs end up in the Pac-12 or SEC down the line.
