Who's the worst major coach in college football? According to CBS, he resides in the Big 12.

Kansas football has had a very rough go of it the last decade or so. It has been 10 years since the Jayhawks made a bowl, and the program has won three games combined over the last three seasons.

The Kansas brand is in a bad spot with recruits, while this week, it was reported that ticket sales for KU football have been plummeting. This is all not good.

Making things worse, CBS Sports released its 65-26 ranking of Power 5 head coaches, which is soon to be followed by the top 25. Coming in dead last is Kansas' David Beaty.

Beaty was No. 60 on last year's rankings, with Rutgers' Chris Ash coming in last. Now, they have swapped places, with Ash at No. 60.

Even though there are some who haven't coached a game yet, Beaty finishes in last due to being 3-33 in three seasons.

Ouch. At least Beaty has a chance to beat Ash head up this year when Kansas hosts Rutgers in September.

In fairness to Beaty, Kansas has chewed up and spit out a bunch of other coaches over the years. It's an extremely hard place to win.

Kansas will open its 2018 season up against Nicholls State on Sept. 1.
