Ole Miss' Chad Kelly Leaves Georgia Southern Game With Injury

Chad Kelly has suffered an injury against Georgia Southern.

Chad Kelly and Ole Miss are currently hosting Georgia Southern and the Rebels quarterback has reportedly suffered an injury after taking a hard hit on an incomplete pass.

After getting looked at on the sideline, the senior left the field and headed to the locker room.

Kelly was 16-for-23 through the air for 226 yards with one passing touchdown to go along with two rushing touchdowns prior to leaving the game.

Kelly has since returned to the sideline, but Ole Miss has turned to freshman quarterback Jason Pellerin. Pellerin and the Rebels marched down the field and earned a field goal on his first drive of the afternoon.

More to come as Kelly's status becomes more clear.

Ole Miss leads Georgia Southern 34-27 in the fourth quarter. You can catch the action on ESPN U.
