Out of all the stars that took the field for Ohio State this weekend, none shined brighter than Chase Young. His performance on Saturday had several analysts saying he should be the favorite to win the Heisman Trophy.

Coming into this season the Buckeyes knew that Young would be their top playmaker on defense. In 2018, he finished with 10.5 sacks as a sophomore.

Through only eight games this season, the standout defensive end already has 13.5 sacks and five forced fumbles.

Young dominated against Wisconsin on Saturday, sacking Jack Coan four times in the best performance on his career.

Following the eighth-straight win of the season, the superstar pass rusher tweeted out a message to his followers.

Here is what Young had to say:

It's a short but sweet message from Young.

Young isn't the only player on the Buckeyes receiving attention from the national media. Justin Fields and J.K. Dobbins are considered potential Heisman candidates.

Even if Young doesn't win the Heisman Trophy this season, the consensus around college football is that he'll be the top prospect in the 2020 NFL Draft.

He'll also have a good chance to compete for a national championship. Ohio State is undefeated and has blown out every single opponent on its schedule thus far.
