He's coming home. Former Michigan Wolverines star Chris Webber is returning to Ann Arbor this fall after a lengthy ban kept him from the university.

Webber will serve as the honorary captain for Michigan's game against Penn State. Set for November 3, the matchup will go a long way to determining which team will come out of the Big Ten East (Ohio State included).

It's a significant moment for Webber, who hasn't returned to campus since he left following his sophomore year. After turning pro, Webber implicated in an NCAA investigation for accepting improper benefits from booster Ed Martin.

Now, he'll be back in a big way. Head coach Jim Harbaugh got the ball rolling when he invited Webber to a game earlier this year.

Whether or not Webber will rekindle his relationship with the Fab Five remains to be seen.

Regardless, he'll be in attendance as the Wolverines hope to keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive as the Nittany Lions come to town.
