C.J. Smith, a four-star safety who had been committed to Florida until recently, has a new top five schools list.
Smith, 247Sports' No. 248 recruit in the class of 2018, committed to Florida in March, but backed off of it back on July 6.
The site also ranks him No. 20 among safeties and No. 45 in Florida.
This afternoon, he revealed the new top five: Louisville, Michigan, Oklahoma, Oregon, and South Carolina.
He made the announcement via Twitter:
Smith also has offers from Alabama, Kentucky, LSU, Nebraska, North Carolina, Penn State, Syracuse, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Wisconsin, and others.
There are only two predictions logged in the 247Sports crystal ball. One was for Florida, which doesn't seem very likely any more. The other sends him to Louisville. Obviously, there aren't nearly enough predictions to take much stock in them yet.
