Coaches Love To Say How Little They Care About The CFB Playoff Rankings Show

The new College Football Playoff rankings come out this evening.

Will you be watching the new College Football Playoff top 25 unveiling on ESPN this evening?

You, college football fan, probably will.

You know who won't be watching? College football coaches. That's what they love to tell you, anyway.

"No," every college football coach says. "I won't be watching because I have a game to prepare for. I work extremely hard and can't be bothered to find out where my team stands in the College Football Playoff top 25. Some lackie whose name I don't know will tell me afterwards."

Seriously, this is basically what they all say every week when asked about the show.

Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy said he'd rather watch Spongebob.

Urban Meyer said very definitively today that "no" he will not be watching.

Nick Saban said he doesn't even have a TV and has no idea what the College Football Playoff rankings even are.

(OK, he didn't actually say that. But he might.)

If you want to do the opposite of college football coaches, you can watch the unveiling on ESPN at 9 p.m. E.T.
