Week 6 of the college football season is here and FOX Sports radio host Colin Cowherd is making his picks for the week. For this week’s Marquee 3, Cowherd is picking Michigan vs. Iowa, Auburn vs. Florida, and Texas vs. West Virginia.
Here’s what Cowherd said about each of those games:
On Michigan vs. Iowa: “I’m gonna take Michigan to win and cover at minus-3.5.
…Michigan was favored by 14 points in the summer. But because they lost to Wisconsin, they’re 11 points less as a team? Michigan has won 10 straight home games, they’re a much better team.
…Iowa? Oh my gosh Iowa is undefeated… they’ve yet to face a team this season that has a current winning record. They have faced the fourth-easiest schedule in America among the unbeaten teams…
…Michigan wins it 26-20 over Iowa. They’re the better team here.”
On Auburn vs. Florida: “Auburn has dominated this series – I’m gonna take the [Auburn] Tigers, minus-2.5.
It’s at Florida, Auburn has won the last three meetings. Auburn’s defensive line is, I think, one of the best in America, and will push Florida’s offensive line around.
…Over the course of the game, this Auburn defensive line pushes around the Gators and wins 27-20.”
On Texas vs. West Virginia: “Texas is the better team but I’m gonna take West Virginia and the points plus-10.5.
…West Virginia, strangely, has given Texas all sorts of trouble. They run the heck out of the football and will keep it away from Texas quarterback Sam Ehlinger.
…Who does Texas play next week? Oklahoma. Texas has lost the game before the Sooners in three of the last five seasons… I’m gonna take Texas to win 30-20.”

In Week 5, Colin went a perfect 3-0, correctly picking Notre Dame, Wisconsin and Washington to win their respective games.
Will he get them all right for his second week in a row?
