Urban Meyer predictions are continuing to roll in. ESPN college football analysts Paul Finebaum and David Pollack updated theirs during appearances on the radio today. Both of them having Meyer remaining Ohio State's head coach.
FOX Sports personality Colin Cowherd has since taken to Twitter to update his Urban Meyer-Ohio State prediction. It's a bold one.
Cowherd believes Urban Meyer will stay as Ohio State's head coach. He believes he will serve a brief suspension. Meyer will then return and lead the Buckeyes to a bunch of wins.
However, he has Alabama winning the national title over Clemson.
"Prediction...Urban keeps job. Brief suspension. Media attacks decision. Buckeyes win a bunch of games. Bama wins natty over Clemson. The end," he tweeted.
That would be something. There are many who expect Urban Meyer to keep his job and Ohio State is a preseason top-five team. The Buckeyes winning the national title this season wouldn't be that shocking. However, Alabama and Clemson are seen as the better teams right now.
Meyer returning from a suspension and leading what would likely be a controversial Ohio State team (in the eyes of some, at least) to a national title would be quite the story, though.
The Urban Meyer-Ohio State situation is expected to be wrapped up soon. The Buckeyes announced on Sunday night that the investigation and pending decision should come within two weeks.
