College Football Analyst Thinks Ohio State Gets In Playoff, Even With Penn State's Resume

College football analyst Joel Klatt made an interesting assumption about Ohio State after the announcement of the College Football Playoff.

Earlier today, the final College Football Playoff Rankings were announced. Fox Sports college football analyst Joel Klatt made a bold assumption about the playoff.

According to Klatt, Ohio State would get into the playoff if it had the same resume as Penn State.

What Klatt appears to be saying is that the Buckeyes would get into the playoff either with their resume or Penn State's. With that, he is implying that the Buckeyes are looked on favorably by the selection committee, while Penn State is not.

The Nittany Lions, despite winning the Big Ten, had to settle for the Rose Bowl after being ranked No. 5 in the latest polls.

Should the Nittany Lions be in over Ohio State, given their head-to-head matchup? Should it have even been a discussion since Ohio State's body of work outweighs Penn State's?

As it stands, the Buckeyes face Clemson in the Fiesta Bowl on Dec. 31. The game kicks off at 7 p.m. E.T. and will be broadcast on ESPN.
