Not too many college quarterbacks can say their first career touchdown pass came on a Hail Mary. UNC's Manny Miles can.

Miles, a senior walk-on and the son of former LSU head coach Les Miles, completed two passes in the Tar Heels' win over Western Carolina today on Senior Day.

One of those two completions was an incredible Hail Mary on the final play of the first half. He found tight end Jake Bargas on a tipped ball for six points.

The 38-yard score was also the first touchdown catch of Bargas' career.

Even better, Les Miles was there to see his son's big play in person.

Manny Miles had been UNC's holder this season. He scored a two-point conversion and completed a pass on a fake field goal earlier this year.

Les Miles, meanwhile, made headlines this week when it was widely reported that he is closing in on a deal to be the new head coach of Kansas.

Miles hasn't coached since being dismissed by LSU early in the 2016 season.
