An SEC football star is reportedly unlikely to play in his team's bowl game.

Kentucky senior linebacker Jordan Jones is reportedly likely to miss the Wildcats' bowl game, per Kentucky Sports Radio.

News of Jordan missing the game broke this morning.

From KSR:

Kentucky could be without senior linebacker Jordan Jones in the Citrus Bowl.

According to a KSR source, it’s unlikely Jones will take the field when the Cats meet Penn State down in Orlando on New Year’s Day. It is not a discipline issue, we’re told, and more details will come out later this week regarding Jones’ official playing status.

Kentucky is set to play Penn State in the Citrus Bowl.

Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. E.T. on New Year's Day.
