Week 7 of the college football season is upon us. We already had a Group of Five battle on Tuesday night, and will be treated to games on Thursday, Friday, and of course, Saturday.
We have pretty big games across the college football landscape.
Down in the SEC, Georgia gets a big test on the road at LSU. The Tigers are coming off of a loss at Florida, but are a different animal at home.
Following Stanford’s bad loss to Utah, Washington and Oregon’s game this weekend could go a long way towards deciding the Pac-12 North. Oregon could really help ease the wound of its loss to Stanford by knocking off rival UW at home.
Up in Big Ten country, West division favorite Wisconsin travels to Ann Arbor. It isn’t Michigan State or Ohio State, but a win over the Badgers could be big for Jim Harbaugh’s resume.
Each week, Associated Press college football guru Ralph Russo picks basically every big game of the college football slate.
Here are Russo’s predictions for the big Week 7 games:
- Alabama 56, Missouri 24
- Georgia 28, LSU 17
- Ohio State 45, Minnesota 20
- Oregon 27, Washington 24
- Penn State 38, Michigan State 21
- Michigan 28, Wisconsin 17
- Colorado 34, USC 28
- Notre Dame 42, Pitt 17
- Texas A&M 27, South Carolina 21
- UCF 38, Memphis 31
Russo’s “Upset Special” is No. 19 Colorado over USC on the road as a 7-point underdog. He is 4-2 this season in upset specials, and called Mississippi State over Auburn last week.
