The class of 2019 recruiting rankings has a new team at No. 1. It's a Big 12 program.

Oklahoma landed a huge commitment Friday morning. Four-star defensive end Marcus Hicks announced his commitment to the Sooners early Friday morning, pushing Oklahoma past Alabama.

Hicks is Oklahoma's 13th commitment in the 2019 class.

Oklahoma's 2019 class is now No. 1 in the country, per Rivals' team rankings. The Sooners passed Alabama, which previously had the top class.

There's still a long way to go with the 2019 cycle. National Signing Day is several months away.

Oklahoma, though, is clearly off to a really good start. Lincoln Riley is having quite the first true recruiting cycle as the program's head coach.
