ESPN’s College GameDay is headed to Tuscaloosa this weekend for arguably the biggest game of the college football season to date.
No. 3 Alabama hosts No. 2 LSU in a battle of College Football Playoff contenders. The winner of Saturday afternoon’s game will take a stranglehold on the SEC West and likely represent the division in the SEC title game.
Before the weekend’s slate of games can begin, though, Kirk Herbstreit and company will break down all of the action.
Helping with those duties every Saturday morning is a person with a special bond to the place GameDay broadcasts from.
That special someone tomorrow morning will be star golfer Justin Thomas. The former Alabama star revealed he’ll be on set with Herbstreit and company tomorrow.
“Well since I’m in Tuscaloosa… Might as well call College GameDay! See you guys tomorrow morning for the best game day I’ve ever had from Alabama. Roll tide!!!!!” Thomas said.

Thomas was a standout golfer at the University of Alabama before making the jump to the professional ranks. He was the nation’s most outstanding golfer as a freshman in 2012 and helped Alabama to the title in 2013.
Now he’ll be back on campus for the biggest game of the weekend.
LSU and Alabama kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
