Colorado vs. USC preview:

The Buffaloes have just one loss on the season, coming on the road against No. 4 Michigan. Colorado has done it on both sides of the ball and boasts one of the best defenses in the country statistically.

Colorado (4-1) is coming off of an absolute beatdown of Oregon State. The Buffaloes out gained the Beavers 563 yards to 226 yards and used a balanced attack to put up 47 points. Colorado held Oregon State to just six points and caused two turnovers, which were both interceptions thrown by Conor Blount.

USC (2-3) started off the season with an embarrassing 52-6 defeat at the hands of Alabama. The Trojans dropped games against Stanford and Utah before finally getting back in the win column with a 41-20 victory over Arizona State. USC used 366 yards through the air to put up 41 points through the first three quarters before letting off the gas.

Mike MacIntyre is in his second season as the Buffaloes head coach. He took over in 2013 after turning around the San Jose State program as its head coach from 2010-2012. He owns an overall record of 30-49 as a head coach.

Clay Helton is in his second season as the head coach of the Trojans. Helton brings an 8-7 overall record into this weekend's contest.

Colorado and USC have met 10 times in history, with the Trojans winning all 10 meetings.

Colorado vs. USC prediction:

Colorado comes into this contest at No. 21 in the country, but is the underdog. Although the Buffaloes have never beaten the Trojans, that streak will come to an end at some point. It just won't be this week.

The Trojans have too much talent across the board for Colorado to keep up. USC is starting to hit its stride after a big win over Arizona State and will enter this game firing on all cylinders.
