Let's take a look at the 2018 football schedules for both Alabama and Auburn.

The SEC West rivals will face off on November 24 in the Iron Bowl to close the regular season. Nick Saban's Crimson Tide will look for revenge after Auburn scored a big win at Jordan-Hare Stadium in the 2017 edition of this heated rivalry.

But what about the 11 games leading up to next year's contest? Let's take a look at which team has the harder slate.

Alabama's four non-con opponents are Louisville, Arkansas State, Louisiana-Lafayette, and The Citadel. Auburn, meanwhile, has Washington, Alabama State, Southern Miss, and Liberty.

The Crimson Tide gets SEC East crossover opponents Tennessee and Missouri. The Tigers get Tennessee and Georgia. Verdict: these two schedules are extremely close. The Crimson Tide have road trips to Arkansas, LSU, and Tennessee, while Auburn has those three shared opponents at home. However, the Tigers have to travel to College Football Playoff three-seed Georgia, while Alabama gets middling Missouri at home from the East. Washington should be better than Louisville, and of course, next year's Iron Bowl is in Tuscaloosa. Auburn's slate is a bit tougher.
