Clemson’s head coach says the Tigers will be back.
Dabo Swinney says there might be a tetralogy.
While the Alabama-Clemson trilogy ended with a Tigers’ loss to the Crimson Tide in the Sugar Bowl on Monday night, Swinney made sure to remind everyone that this rivalry isn’t over.
A fourth game is probably coming at some point.
“We’ll be back. They’ll be back. We’ll have more of these,” Clemson’s head coach told reporters after the 24-6 loss in the College Football Playoff.
Dabo Swinney on Clemson-Alabama: “Everybody’s talking about the trilogy like someone’s fixin’ to die or something. We’ll be back. They’ll be back. We’ll have more of these.”

He’s probably right.
Both Alabama and Clemson are recruiting as well as anyone in the country and both programs are stocked with young talent.
It would not be surprising at all if the Tigers and the Crimson Tide are both back in the College Football Playoff next season.
