Dalvin Cook Declares For The NFL Draft On Instagram Live

Florida State running back Dalvin Cook is headed to the NFL.

Florida State junior running back Dalvin Cook put on a show in the Orange Bowl on Friday night, rushing for 145 yards and a touchdown in his team's 33-32 victory over Michigan. It turns out that will be his last game in a Seminoles uniform.

Saturday, Cook, on Instagram Live, announced that he'll be forgoing his senior season to declare for the 2017 NFL Draft. There's no doubt he'll be one of the first running back taken off the board.

Cook rushed for 1,765 yards and 19 touchdowns in his junior season. In his three years at Florida State, he rushed for 4,464 yards and 46 touchdowns. He'll go down as one of the most talented tailbacks in Florida State history - which is saying something.

Cook's main competition at running back? Leonard Fournette, who sat out LSU's Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl contest. It'll be interesting to see which player is taken first this spring.
