Florida takes on South Carolina on Saturday, and it looks like the Gators will be a little shorthanded for the affair. Two of the team's star defensive ends will not be playing in the contest.

Jonathan Greenard and Jabari Zuniga, who were both injured against LSU last week, will not be participating in the game. Both are suffering from ankle injuries.

Both were considered to be game-time decisions heading into the contest. But Mullen was shown on College GameDay just a few minutes ago updating their status - they're out.

Florida is favored against South Carolina, but the Gamecocks proved last week that they're capable of a big upset. They knocked off previously undefeated Georgia in overtime for the biggest upset of the college football season.

Florida has boasted one of the best defenses in the nation so far this season. Missing Greenard and Zuniga could wind up being a big deal.

Florida's loss to LSU last week ended the team's dream of an undefeated season, but they still control their own destiny in the SEC.

Florida vs. South Carolina is set to kick off at Noon ET on ESPN.
