The national college football writer thinks it's clear that Meyer and Herman's relationship has taken a big hit this year.

Tom Herman spent three seasons coaching under Urban Meyer at Ohio State before leaving for Houston.

The relationship between Meyer and his former top assistant coach has suffered quite a bit since he left, though, according to one college football writer.

USA TODAY's Dan Wolken thinks it's "clear" that the relationship between Herman and Meyer has "deteriorated."

No one can really know what the relationship between Herman and Meyer is like, but Ohio State has made recruiting the state of Texas a priority and the Longhorns' head coach will obviously do anything he can to stop OSU from taking his state's players.
