To make a long story short, this season hasn't gone as well as Houston head coach Dana Holgorsen planned. His frustration reached an all-time high on Saturday against UConn.

Houston came into this weekend with a 2-4 record. Star quarterback D’Eriq King is using this season as a redshirt year, which obviously hurts the team's offense.

The Cougars aren't playing up to their standards this season, but the team came in favored against the Huskies. After all, UConn has been one of the more disappointing programs in college football over the past few years.

Surprisingly though, UConn is only down a field goal to Houston as it enters halftime.

During the first half of action, Holgorsen voiced his frustration by unloading a couple of unkind words about his team. ESPN's microphones on the sideline picked up his reaction.

This isn't a great look for Holgorsen, who is currently in his first year as the head coach of the Cougars.

Holgorsen resigned from his West Virginia job in January before accepting the head coaching position at Houston.

In the event Houston does lose to UConn this afternoon, it wouldn't be too shocking if Holgorsen has a few more choice words on the sideline.

The second half is available on ESPNU.
