College football analyst Danny Kanell has released a controversial new top eight poll following Week 4 of the 2019 college football season.
Kanell has left two notable teams - Ohio State and Oklahoma - out of his top eight rankings following the fourth weekend of the year.
Here's Kanell's new top eight:
Texas and Oregon, of course, both have losses. The Longhorns and the Ducks apparently get credit for losing to LSU and Auburn, though.
Ohio State and Oklahoma have looked dominant through four weeks, though the Buckeyes and the Sooners don't have the resumes yet.
"Dear Ohio State and Oklahoma, please play someone with a pulse so your resume can stack up with these teams," Kanell tweeted.
Of course, Alabama hasn't played anyone with a "pulse" either, but apparently that sentiment only applies to Ohio State and Oklahoma.
The real new college football top 25 polls will be out later this afternoon. The new Coaches' Poll is out at noon E.T. and the new AP Poll is out at 2 p.m. E.T.
