On Tuesday night the College Football Playoff committee revealed its penultimate rankings heading into Championship Weekend. Alabama, Clemson and Notre Dame held steady while Michigan dropped from the top four after a devastating loss to Ohio state.
The committee bumped Georgia into the top four, setting up a date between No. 1 Alabama and No. 4 Georgia. Oklahoma and Ohio State rounded out the top six and are the only other two teams that have a legitimate shot at gaining a playoff spot.
The top six teams, apart from Notre Dame, will be in action this weekend with a spot in the playoff on the line. College football analyst Danny Kanell doesn't think that's fair.
Kanell took to Twitter with a hot take about the Irish.
Should Notre Dame be forced to play another game in order to make the playoff?
Regardless, the Fighting Irish sit undefeated on the season and a primed for their first CFP berth.
