It's safe to say Danny Kanell thinks the Florida-LSU game should have been played.
In case you missed it, Florida and LSU were supposed to play on Saturday afternoon in Gainesville but the game was cancelled on Thursday due to the threat of Hurricane Matthew.
The decision has caused quite the chatter on social media and ESPN's Danny Kanell trolled the Gators pretty hard with this Tweet:
Eighty-one degrees and clear skies seems like a pretty good day for football. The 18 mph wind may have had an effect on the game, but other than that, it looks like it was pretty nice in Gainesville at the scheduled kickoff time.
It was also reported on Thursday that Florida offered to play LSU on Nov. 19 and cancel its scheduled game against Presbyterian, but the Tigers refused.
On Friday morning, LSU's athletic director Joe Alleva said that the game is going to be very difficult to makeup at some point this season.
