David Shaw gave a candid response when asked if was interested in the head coaching vacancy in LSU.

LSU fired Les Miles just four weeks into the season after a 2-2 start. As to who will take over the program, many names have been dropped, including Shaw's.

Shaw took over as head coach of the Cardinal after Jim Harbaugh left for the NFL in 2011. The Stanford coach has compiled an impressive 57-14 record since taking over, including a dominant performance against Iowa in the Rose Bowl last year. Stanford has won three of the past five Pac-12 Championships with Shaw at the helm.

This year, the No. 7 Cardinal are out to a 3-0 start with a big conference battle coming up when they travel to the No. 10 Washington Huskies. The game is slated for Friday, September 30 and kicks off from Husky Stadium at 9:00 p.m. E.T.
