Oklahoma star wideout Dede Westbrook is skipping the Senior Bowl.
Dede Westbrook had accepted an invitation to the Senior Bowl, but we learned today that the former Sooners' star is now passing on the NFL Draft showcase.
Matt Miller, an NFL Draft analyst for Bleacher Report, says he's been told that Westbrook didn't want to have to deal with questions from his past all week in Mobile, Ala.
Westbrook was arrested twice and charged once in family violence incidents before being recruited by Bob Stoops and Oklahoma in 2012-13.
The 6-foot, 175-pound wide receiver caught 80 passes for 1,524 yards and 17 touchdowns with the Sooners in 2016.
Westbrook is a potential first or second round pick.
