He doesn't think he'll make it to next year.

Earlier this week, Arkansas shocked the college football world when it fired athletic director Jeff Long.

The move almost certainly signals the end for current head football coach Bret Bielema.

According to Dennis Dodd of CBS Sports, Bielema won't make it through another season with the Razorbacks.

Here's what he had to say.

It's not too hard to read between the lines in the press release. Bret Bielema is gone. Why else would Arkansas fire its athletic director? Either Long refused to fire Bielema himself or he wasn't needed to hire the next guy. Maybe both. It just seems a matter of time with the Hogs hosting Mississippi State and Missouri the next two weeks.

There will be plenty of turnover in the SEC next season with Butch Jones already out at Tennessee, and many others remaining on the hot seat.

Will Bielema make it to next season? The odds are stacked against him with the firing of Jeff Long.
