Every year, we see newly-drafted NFL players do awesome things with their money. You can add Ohio State's Denzel Ward to that list.

Two years ago, Ward's father passed away. That left his mom by herself with the family mortgage.

Not anymore. Ward revealed last night that he is taking over payments for his mother.

"I'm paying for her house so she doesn't have to worry about that anymore," he told NFL Total Access.

Ward has not signed his rookie contract yet. He's in line for a nice payday.

According to Business Insider, Ward's projected total salary will be close to $30 million, with a signing bonus close to $20 million.

That's not bad for the No. 4 pick in the draft. His mom will appreciate it also.

Kudos to Denzel.
