Some NFL Scouts Reportedly Prefer Notre Dame's DeShone Kizer Over Clemson's Deshaun Watson

Which quarterback would you take with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft?

Clemson junior quarterback Deshaun Watson is believed by most people to be the consensus top quarterback in the 2017 NFL Draft class, but some NFL scouts reportedly prefer another QB.

According to a new report by NFL.com, multiple NFL scouts prefer Notre Dame junior DeShone Kizer over Watson.

From NFL.com:

Two scouts told us in the weeks since the season began that they believe Notre Dame's DeShone Kizershould be ranked ahead of Clemson's Deshaun Watson as the top quarterback in college football.

Kizer has thrown for 371 yards, seven touchdowns and an interception through two games this season, while Watson has thrown for 540 yards, four touchdowns and three interceptions. Both are also potent threats in the running game.

The 2017 NFL Draft is set to begin on April 27.
