Details are starting to emerge from Ohio State's Board of Trustees meeting regarding the future of Urban Meyer as the Buckeyes' head football coach. A decision on Meyer could be on the way.

The meeting began at 9 a.m. E.T. It was available to the public, but the board quickly broke off into an executive, private session to discuss Meyer's future.

Somewhat surprisingly, Meyer showed up to the private meeting a couple of minutes into it. He was wearing a suit. His car was parked somewhat privately and he went into the building through a back entrance.

Columbus' ABC affiliate captured photos.

This seems to mean that a decision should be on the way. It feels unlikely that Meyer would get summoned to the meeting only for a public announcement to be delayed until Thursday or Friday. Eleven Warriors reports that multiple sources are telling them a decision will be announced today. "Ohio State will announce their findings and decision on Urban Meyer's status today according to two sources with knowledge of the proceedings," they tweeted.

A press conference regarding the decision on Meyer could be coming soon, too.

Reporters on the scene have tweeted that something appears to be getting set up.

"A backdrop and podium have been set up at the Longaberger Alumni House. Expect a press conference this afternoon announcing the findings of the investigation into Urban Meyer," Kyle Rowland tweeted.

Reports have suggested that the likely punishment for Meyer would be a suspension, possibly including time served. It looks like we're going to learn everything shortly. Stay tuned.
