Devin Bush, a blue-chip cornerback out of Louisiana, just released his top five schools. He has some very strong programs in contention.

The New Orleans native stars at Edna Karr High School. He is the No. 7-ranked player in Louisiana, per 247Sports.

The site has him at No. 136 overall, per its composite ranking system. He is the 15th ranked cornerback.

This afternoon, Bush announced his top five schools. It is unclear if others could still get in the mix, but these are the programs he's focused on.

In-state power LSU makes the cut. The list is rounded out by Auburn, Clemson, Oklahoma, and Tennessee.

Devin Bush made the announcement via Twitter.

Bush holds 17 offers in total. Here is the full note from his announcement:

"At this point in my recruiting process I would like to thank all coaching staffs for recruiting me and believing in my abilities. These are the top schools that I will be focusing on from this point forward. God Bless."

Right now, all eight recruiting experts that have logged predictions at 247's crystal ball think he is heading to the same program. LSU is favorite for the New Orleans product.

Ed Orgeron has gotten off to a quick start in 2019, after a relatively disappointing 2018 class (by LSU standards at least). The Tigers have eight commits, and the class ranks third in the country.

Four of those come from Louisiana, as LSU attempts to wall off the state to the rest of the SEC. Landing Bush would go a long way in doing just that.
