LeBron began trash talking Green via Twitter on Saturday during Ohio State’s blowout win against Michigan State.
“Can somebody check in on my brother @Money23Green please! Haven’t heard from him today,” LeBron said on Twitter. “#GoBuckeyes OH…… @OhioStateFB.”
It didn’t take long for Draymond Green to fire back. He’s not backing down from his support for Michigan State, regardless of how bad the loss hurts.
“Go F—G GREEN baby! Damn this s—t hurt hahaha,” Green replied.
Well played, Draymond.
To be fair, no one expected such a dominant performance by Ohio State. But Michigan State’ pass defense stood no chance against the Buckeyes’ explosive passing offense.
The good news for Draymond Green is he can do his trash talking on the court this season. The Golden State Warriors are easily the best team in the NBA right now.
LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers, meanwhile, are in a major slump. If the season ended today, they wouldn’t even get into the Western Conference Playoffs.
Unfortunately for the rest of us, LeBron, Draymond, the Warriors and Lakers won’t even go head-to-head until Feb. 12. They can settle their feud then.
Ohio State, in the meantime, will begin preparations f the Michigan Wolverines. Michigan State, on the other hand, will wrap up the regular season next Saturday versus Penn State.
