College GameDay Landed Former WSU Quarterback Drew Bledsoe As Guest Picker

For a few weeks in a row, College GameDay has had trouble getting solid celebrity guest pickers - or even guest pickers that made sense based on the school they were visiting. But Saturday morning, they got a good one.

College GameDay is at Washington State for the first time in show history, and appropriately, they were able to land one of the top players in school history.

Drew Bledsoe, who played for the Cougars in the early 1990s, was just named the guest picker. The show just showed him getting off the plane to go join the set.

Bledsoe played for WSU for three years before being drafted No. 1 overall in the 1993 NFL Draft. He was taken by the New England Patriots.

Bledsoe played for the Patriots from 1993-2001 (he was replaced by someone named Tom Brady) and later suited up for both the Buffalo Bills and the Dallas Cowboys.

Props to GameDay for finally getting a great, appropriate guest.

Washington State will take on Oregon on Saturday night - we have a feeling we know who Bledsoe will be taking.
