The Maui Invitational tips off this afternoon, and to no one's surprise, the No. 1 Duke Blue Devils are the favorite. They'll need to win three games to take the title.

Duke will open on Monday afternoon with San Diego State at 4:30 PM ET. The Aztecs enter the contest with a 2-0 record and wins over Arkansas-Pine Bluff and Texas Southern.

Should the Blue Devils win, we could have a potential top-10 matchup on our hands. No. 9 Auburn takes on Xavier this afternoon, and if the Tigers can win, they'll meet Duke on Tuesday night.

If Duke can beat both San Diego State and the winner of Auburn vs. Xavier, they could face an even tougher opponent in the title game.

No. 3 Gonzaga is in the bottom half of the bracket. The Bulldogs would have to get past Illinois and the winner of Arizona vs. Iowa State to make it happen.

So Duke, potentially, could have to play San Diego State, No. 9 Auburn and No. 3 Gonzaga in consecutive days.

If Duke gets through that gauntlet, the Blue Devils will be deserving of the No. 1 ranking they currently own. It should be an awesome week.
