Duke vs. Virginia Tech preview:

Virginia Tech has a few solid wins on its resume so far this year, but it also has a horrendous loss to Syracuse. The Hokies have wins over then No. 17 North Carolina, a blowout win over Boston College, a solid win over Miami, and a hard fought victory over the Pitt Panthers. Va Tech has a nice easy schedule the rest of the way, and should be in line for a solid bowl game by the end of the season.

Duke has not had a very successful season. The Blue Devils have five losses on the season, and just three wins, which came against mediocre competition. Duke's three wins this season came against North Carolina Central, Notre Dame, and Army.

Duke vs. Virginia Tech prediction:

Virginia Tech is head and shoulders better than Duke in every way. The Hokies enter this game on a two-game win streak, while the Blue Devils are on a two-game losing streak.

The Hokies are one of the most balanced teams in the ACC, and enter this contest with a great offense and a solid defense.

Va Tech 38, Duke 17
