Dwayne Haskins is starting just his fourth game for Ohio State's football program today, but the Buckeyes' QB has already impressed the fan base (and the program's former players) at a ridiculously high level.

Haskins, a redshirt sophomore, is throwing the ball in a way few Ohio State quarterbacks have before. People are taking notice.

The first-half stats for today's game against Tulane are just insane.

That's not fair. Haskins' play has prompted some former Ohio State football stars to take to Twitter to rave about his abilities. Former Buckeyes' star running back Beanie Wells tweeted that Haskins might be better than Heisman Trophy winner Troy Smith. "Can’t believe I’m fixing my fingers to tweet this, But he might be better than Troy ................ I gotta see It in another big game.......I might be tripping lol," he wrote.

Former Ohio State tight end Jake Stoneburner responded:

"man. like maybe the best i’ve seen at ohio state? ever."

Former Ohio State star Jay Richardson said he's been thinking about this, too. "Ive been struggling w the same line of thought bro...he might be."

We'll get a great look at Haskins in a tough environment one week from tonight.

Ohio State is set to take on Penn State in a top 10 matchup on the road next Saturday. That game will kick off at 7:30 p.m. E.T. on ABC.

If Haskins has another game in the national spotlight, the Heisman Trophy hype is really going to get going.
