Here are some very early bowl projections.
The first Saturday of the 2017 college football season is exactly six months from today. In six months, we’ll all be on our couches (or in the stands) watching Alabama-Florida State, Florida-Michigan, LSU-BYU, Maryland-Texas and a ton of other hopefully entertaining games.
We can’t wait.
So, with the ’17 season being exactly half a year away (the weeks will go fast, we promise) we’ve made some way-too-early bowl projections for the upcoming season. They’re probably going to be mostly wrong, but they’re still fun to do this time of the year.
Here are some projections for the College Football Playoff (Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl, national title game) and the New Year’s Six games (Cotton Bowl, Fiesta Bowl, Peach Bowl, Orange Bowl).
