One of the top junior college recruits in the 2020 cycle has narrowed down his list of offers considerably this weekend.
Council Bluffs (IA) Western Community College defensive tackle Perrion Winfey, who holds 20 scholarship offers, has officially decided on a top eight. He released it this afternoon.
Winfrey’s top eight consists of Alabama, Florida State, LSU, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon, Penn State and Texas.

The 6-foot-4, 305-pound Winfrey arrived at Iowa Western via Roselle (Ill.) Lake Park High School. He appeared in 11 games last season, recording 27 tackles, four sacks and a forced fumble.
Winfrey’s best game came against Fort Scott, when he compiled two sacks and three tackles for loss in a 39-7 win.
He’ll play the 2019 season at Iowa Western before finishing his career at the four-year school of his choice.
