Erick Young, a four-star cornerback from Texas, has a new top schools list. The Fort Bend Bush star announced the programs that stick out in his recruitment.

The SEC is a major focus for Young. Half of the schools on his list come from the league.

The rest are a combination of programs from the Big Ten, Big 12, and Pac-12 conferences.

The full group: Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Texas A&M, and USC.

Erick Young announced the top 10 schools via Twitter:

His full note from the tweet:

"At this time I would like to thank everyone who took the time to offer me the opportunity to continue my education and athletic career."

There is one school that is currently viewed as the favorite to land young. Over at 247Sports, nine of the 10 early predictions in the crystal ball believe he will be a Texas A&M Aggie. The other went to LSU.

Young is the No. 157 player in the 247 composite rankings. He is the No. 13 cornerback, and the 10th-ranked player in Texas.

He has 26 reported scholarship offers in total. Based on his tweet, we'll see this list cut in half sometime in April.
