That might seem like too many, but according to the Worldwide Leader, that's how many teams are still - somewhat - alive in the College Football Playoff race .
Those 17 teams:
- Alabama
- Georgia
- Clemson
- Miami
- Oklahoma
- Notre Dame
- Ohio State
- Penn State
- Wisconsin
- Washington
- TCU
- Oklahoma State
- Virginia Tech
- Auburn
- UCF
- Stanford
- NC State
This list does seem to be a couple of teams too long (I would bet a lot on UCF and NC State being completely out of the College Football Playoff race) but I guess they do still have somewhat of a chance to make it.
