It is incredibly hard to go through the college football season undefeated. Almost every season, the College Football Playoff features multiple teams that have lost a game throughout the course of the year.

ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI) has updated its preseason rankings as of the spring. One of the metrics they use is the chance each team has to win out.

Who has the best shot to go undefeated? The Clemson Tigers.

According to ESPN, Clemson has a 19.2 percent shot to win out this season. Alabama (10.1 percent) and Notre Dame (10.0) percent are the only other teams with a double-digit chance to win all their games.

This is Clemson's 2018 schedule:

As you can, Clemson is favored in every game, according to the FPI. Texas A&M and Florida State are given the best chance to beat them.

Clemson last went undefeated in the 2015 regular season. The Tigers went 12-0, beat UNC in the ACC Championship Game and Oklahoma in the College Football Playoff before losing to Alabama in the title game.
